Melancholia

Is a slow depressing movie that tips the helpless viewer into a downward spiral of existential nihilism.

If I feel like I wasted 2-hours, in addition to the abject sadness, by watching a film quite void of meaning (by this I mean choice... Hmm), then, Lars Von Trier has succeeded.

First 5 minutes and last 5 minutes are for the stunning visuals, whilst Dunst and Co. definitely played their parts right to move an audience like that.
But I confess to being annoyed at certain parts because depression is really painful to watch.

Here's a film only for the curious.
